Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Apprentice Security Product installer Technician to join our dynamic team. This role is ideal for individuals looking to develop their skills in electrical engineering. The successful candidate will work under the guidance of experienced technicians, assisting with various tasks and learning the intricacies of Security product installation to include CCTV, Access Control and Gate Automation.

Duties

Assist in installing security product
Perform tasks including digging out trenches for cables and underground motors, clipping cables, conduit, electrical and mechanical connections, access software installation, connection to open and closed networks. Later to carry out maintenance and service work.
Utilise hand tools and power tools safely and effectively for repairs and assembly tasks.
Conduct and ensure all tools are maintained in good working order.
Support senior technicians with heavy lifting as required.
Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients.
Participate in training sessions to enhance mechanical and electrical knowledge and skills, including welding techniques when applicable.
Must be able to drive, have no criminal record. DBS and BS7858 checks to take place

Qualifications

Basic understanding of electrical and mechanical knowledge is preferred.
To be a team member.
Experience using hand tools, power tools, and performing assembly tasks is beneficial.
Strong commitment to safety practices within the customers environment.
Ability to perform heavy lifting as needed during repair processes.
Excellent communication skills with a focus on customer service.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: £24,000.00-£25,000.00 per year
