Overview: G&A Security is seeking a motivated individual to join their team as a CCTV Engineer Apprentice. This apprenticeship offers a unique opportunity to gain practical experience in CCTV while contributing to the success of the company.

Key Responsibilities:

You will learn to monitor our company’s surveillance systems and ensure their proper functioning. This includes responding to alarms and reporting any issues to senior technicians.
Under the guidance of experienced technicians, you will learn how to diagnose technical faults in CCTV systems and help resolve them in a timely manner.
You will gain hands-on experience in setting up new equipment and installing CCTV systems while learning about cabling connections and wiring techniques.
As an apprentice, you will learn how to configure CCTV systems for compatibility with various software and wiring configurations under the supervision of senior technicians.
You will assist in repairing faulty equipment, upgrading software, and monitoring system performance as part of your training program.
You will follow all company policies regarding data protection, confidentiality, and safety procedures while working on CCTV projects.
You will be encouraged to expand your knowledge by attending industry events, workshops, and training sessions as part of your professional development plan.

Qualifications and Skills:

Minimum GCSE qualifications in English/Maths (Grade C/4)
A strong interest in electronics or IT fields with a willingness to learn about CCTV technologies and related software applications;
Basic problem-solving skills;
Excellent communication skills;
Attention to detail and accuracy in work;
Strong interpersonal, communication, and organisational skills;
Ability to work effectively in a team environment and meet deadlines under pressure
