We’re looking for a motivated and eager-to-learn apprentice to join our Bexleyheath-based team as an Apprentice Account Handler in our Jensten Motor Trade division.

This is your chance to receive full training and hands-on experience as an Account Handler, working on a range of Motor Trade Insurance business. You will also gain a Level-3 Insurance Practitioner Apprenticeship and the Certificate in Insurance (CII) to help you build a solid foundation for a successful career in the insurance industry.

You’ll work directly with our team in Bexleyheath (with the opportunity for hybrid working once training is complete) and report to the Director as you grow in your role.

Key objectives & responsibilities will include:

Offer and present insurance solutions including insurance policies and other risk management solutions, with purpose to secure renewal.
To assist in team performance by regular communication with colleagues and manager to establish and raise concerns and provide solutions.
Achieve or exceed agreed income retention and policy count set targets
To understand client’s business operations, opportunities and risks and their approach to risk management and insurance.
To ensure compliance with local procedures, customer service standards and external compliance regulations, e.g. FCA

About you

As one of our Apprentice Account Handlers, you’ll have good communication and written skills with a keen eye for detail. You will be the type of person who wants to constantly develop, and you can expect fantastic career progression, training & development within the role and Insurance Industry in general. You will also be or have:

Great customer service skills
A good level of organisation and the ability to work in a fast paced environment
Excellent telephone manner
Drive and genuine passion to learn and develop within Insurance
Able to use initiative and multi-task, updating relevant systems and admin
