Dental Nurse position available in Rutland Leicestershire, within a well established mixed NHS and Private clinic.

Looking for someone who is looking to start a career in Dental Nursing and would have the opportunity to train to a NVQ level 3, or someone who maybe training and looking for a new opportunity.You will undergo training to develop skills to enable you to progress in the world of dentistry and start a new career.

Your duties would include:

Assisting the dentist chair-side

Assisting the hygienist with treatments and support

Preparing materials

Making sure the proper equipment and instruments are available when they are needed

Decontaminating instruments working within strict cross infection procedures

Taking and recording clinical notes

Stock control and audits

Engaging closely with patients to build rapport and trust

Helping patients to understand their treatment options

Helping the practice to grow through obtaining further training and implementing new ideas

Helping with reception and admin duties

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: £11.44-£12.21 per hour

Expected hours: 38 per week

Experience:

Dental Occupations: 1 year (preferred)
Dental assisting: 1 year (preferred)
Dental Nursing: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

Valid GDC registration (preferred)
