In Smilers Nursery we are eager to find a caring and compassionate Nursery Nurse to join our team, providing exceptional support for children in a nurturing environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for early childhood education and a strong ability to manage and communicate effectively with both children and their families.

Responsibilities

Provide high-quality care and supervision for children in the nursery setting.
Develop and implement engaging educational activities that promote early childhood development.
Manage daily routines, ensuring that children's needs are met in a timely manner.
Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding their child's progress and any concerns.
Maintain a safe, clean, and organised environment for children to learn and play.
Collaborate with other nursery staff to create a supportive team atmosphere.
Drive initiatives that enhance the nursery's educational programme and overall child experience.
Document children's development milestones and maintain accurate records as required.

Qualifications

Relevant qualifications in Early Childhood Education or Childcare are essential.
Previous experience working with children in a nursery or similar setting is highly desirable.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage a team effectively.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, particularly in English.
A genuine passion for working with young children and fostering their development.
Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also being self-motivated.
A commitment to creating an inclusive environment that respects diversity among children and families.
