We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Business Administration Apprentice to join our dynamic team. This apprenticeship offers an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to gain hands-on experience in a professional office environment while developing essential administrative skills. The successful candidate will assist with various clerical and administrative tasks, contributing to the smooth operation of our grounds maintenance, tree surgery and landscaping business.

Duties

Provide general administrative support, including data entry and clerical tasks.
Utilise Microsoft 365 for document creation and communication.
Assist with bookkeeping tasks using to maintain accurate financial records.
Demonstrate excellent phone etiquette while handling incoming calls and enquiries.
Organise digital and paper filing systems in order to maintain an efficient office environment.
Collaborate with team members on various projects and tasks as required.
Support the management team in day-to-day operations and special projects.

Qualifications

Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
Working towards proficiency in Microsoft 365 apps including Word, Excel, Outlook
Familiarity with Xero is advantageous but not essential.
Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills.
Basic computer literacy with a focus on data entry and clerical duties.
A keen interest in pursuing a career in business administration or related fields.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
