We're Hiring for a Salon Apprentice
Are you passionate about hair and making people feel their best? Just left school and wondering what’s next? We’re looking for a Salon Apprentice to join our friendly and professional team.

Here at the station, we take it all very seriously, from learning how to do fabulous hair, make and present a great coffee, and of course, exceptional customer service. This is a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a busy salon environment while working towards a recognised qualification in hairdressing.

We work closely with Kleek Academy, who are now based in Colchester. They visit our salon every 6 weeks to check in with the progress being made and carry out assessments with our learners.

What you’ll be doing:

Assisting stylists with client services
Greeting clients and models
Shampooing, conditioning and prepping hair
Helping to keep the salon clean and well-presented
Learning modern techniques and styles
Taking part in training both in-salon and at college

What we’re looking for:

Ideally, a recent school leaver (minimum age 16)
Enthusiastic, reliable, and willing to learn
Polite, friendly and a team player
A genuine interest in a career in hairdressing
