The Vacancy

Maintain and support the IT services of TPT Retirement Solutions, ensuring they are available, secure, and error-free. This includes managing licensing, IT assets, and service processes.

Working within the IT Support team, you will be responsible for:

Logging calls and gathering necessary information to handle service requests, incidents, and changes.
Reviewing, diagnosing and triaging user requests, resolving technical issues, and answering queries about business systems and databases.
Monitoring and managing service desk call queues.
Escalating calls to appropriate teams and management to ensure swift resolution.
Managing the processes for new starters, movers, and leavers, ensuring timely handling of hardware, software, and access tasks.
Overseeing end user asset management.
Handling meeting room bookings and conferencing equipment.
Troubleshooting virtual desktops, printers, mobile devices, mail, and mail security.
Performing daily, weekly, and monthly checks and audits.
Participating in scheduled maintenance of hardware and software.
Adherence with TPT’s Information Security Policy & Data Protection Policy when handling personal data.
To act as an ambassador of TPT at all times.

Skills and Experience

Studying towards an IT qualification.
Confident communication skills.
Knowledge of infrastructure technologies (LAN, WAN, SAN storage, server design, disaster recovery, data centres).
Knowledge and understanding of how service desk how ticket management systems and Windows desktop user support operates.
Knowledge and understanding Microsoft Server administration (including Active Directory and Group Policy), software asset management and license compliance.
Experience with Microsoft Teams and Office 365.
We’re looking for someone with enthusiasm, who is keen to learn and happy to work both independently and as part of a team.

Don’t be concerned if you don’t have all the required experience, if you have been studying IT, have a keen interest in developing your skills in IT and have ‘can-do’ attitude you will be trained in all areas of the role.

This role is an 18 month fixed term contract.
