Are you looking for a healthcare apprenticeship, a pharmacy assistant job, or a career in the NHS Pharmacy Services with no prior experience?

We are a community-based pharmacy committed to delivering high-quality NHS Pharmacy Services, and we’re looking for a motivated Apprentice Pharmacy Assistant to join our team. You will train while you earn and complete a Level 2 Pharmacy Services Assistant qualification.

Please note: This position is not open to current students or overseas applicants. Local applicants will be prioritised as part of our commitment to community development.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in dispensing NHS prescriptions under supervision.
Provide excellent customer service and over-the-counter advice on minor health concerns.
Support stock control, including ordering, rotation, and replenishment of medicines.
Help with pharmacy operations, including cleaning, tidying, and administrative duties.
Learn about NHS health campaigns and support public health services in the local community.

Working Hours:

Business Hours:

Monday to Saturday – 9:00 AM to 9:00 PM
Sunday – 10:00 AM to 8:00 PM

Apprentice Shift Pattern:

30 hours per week (varied shifts, flexibility required)

Essential Requirements:

Must have the right to live and work in the UK – No sponsorship provided.
Must not be a student – this is a career-starter role.
Basic IT skills and access to a computer for online learning and training.
GCSEs in English and Maths (Grade C/4 or above).
