Level 4 IT Apprenticeship opportunity
This is an opportunity for ambitious individuals to join a small but growing Technology team in Bedford delivering IT and Voice services.
You will be working on a variety of systems and projects to deliver a comprehensive range of services to clients from startups to SME’s and multi-site businesses across the region.
It is suitable for aspiring ICT professionals to enhance their technical and business skills in a dynamic consulting, and performance-based environment.

- Desktop support professional
- Consultancy, Technical Sales and Marketing
- Technical Voice services support
- Site engineering incl. Wifi, Cabling, CCTV
- Network and cyber security engineer
- Microsoft & cloud services specialist.
Tconsult is focussed on Best Practice delivery of Technology Outsourcing and Advisory Services covering all aspects of ICT infrastructure: from PCs to cloud servers, file sharing, printers, internet, networking, WiFi connectivity, office desktop software, backup, antivirus, hardware repairs, Microsoft 365, Sharepoint and related solutions, VoIP telephony.
We are entering a new phase of growth and riding the wave of Convergence and Proliferation in Technology.
The role involves:
· Effective Client Care for remote support, on-site engineering and new requirements
· Assisting on new projects and on-site installations
· Processing new service orders and liaising with service providers
· Supporting the senior team, incl. product research, testing, marketing and on-boarding new clients.
Operating within a consulting model requires a high level of commitment, professionalism, integrity and ambition.
You will be comfortable juggling a variety of tasks ranging from easy to complex, and across multiple technologies and clients. No day is ever the same!
ESSENTIAL requirements, please only apply if you have these:
- Completed Level 3 IT apprenticeship or equivalent and wish to progress to Level 4
- IT work experience in an outsourced MSP environment.
Your personal qualities will include:
- Sound analytical and thinking skills
- Excellent service delivery and reliability.
- Self-management with ‘can do’ and mature personal attitude
- Strong presentation and communication skills – both written and verbal – with ability to handle client relationships and establish trusted relationships.
- Ability to grasp non-technical issues such as giving training and guidance, dealing with suppliers, negotiating, handling any complaints and potential disputes.
- Team working, supporting other team members and co-ordinating with our strategic business partners.

Location: Based in Bedford town centre with visits to clients as required.
Hours: Full time with overtime required on certain jobs.
Package: Initial package between £15,000 to £18,000pa depending on individual ability plus overtime, pension scheme and performance-related bonus.
Reviews: Salary is reviewed every 4 months in line with personal performance and achievement of targets. You should expect your responsibilities to progress through to qualified professional and beyond, e.g. Supervisor and Technical Lead roles.
