What will you be doing?
- Working in a specific flagship scheme you will support the project delivery teams by providing assistance in the following;
- Support the commercial teams on all day-to-day administrative activity, including producing reports as required
- Support the commercial teams dealing with the supply chain, understanding the full scope of work and the breakdown of packages
- Support the commercial teams to monitor supply chain variations along with monthly valuations
- Support the team on project closure and final account activities attendance at contractor performance meetings
- Develop a working knowledge of quantity surveying best practices and framework agreement contract management
- Work with the commercial team to gain a wider understanding of the business and its interface with the client and subcontractor fraternity
- Develop relationships with key internal and external customers to support commercial activity

As an Apprentice, you'll undertake a L4 Construction Quantity Surveying Technician at The Derby College or L6 Chartered Surveyor Degree Apprenticeship (BSc Hons) at Nottingham Trent University.
