Gama Aviation are pleased to invite Engineering Apprentices to apply for our 2025 Engineering Apprenticeship Programme. You will be working alongside our dynamic team of Engineers and Mechanics at our fantastic Glasgow facility. This apprenticeship is delivered in partnership with a prestigious training organisation, ensuring top-quality education and industry recognised qualifications.
We are offering a five-year apprenticeship within Aircraft Maintenance, developing (under supervision) your understanding of Avionic/Mechanical maintenance and rectification knowledge, skills and safe systems of work, whilst also recording, collating evidence of maintenance and rectification activities suitable for internal engineering write ups.
Your first 12 Months will be spent developing your hand skills and knowledge of the Aviation and Aircraft Maintenance industry through a combination of classroom, practical and on the job training. In year 2 and 3, you will be enrolled with a Part 147 approved prestigious Aircraft Maintenance Training School, working towards your Aircraft Maintenance Licence Category A, providing you the tools, skills and foundation experience you need to become a successful Aircraft Maintenance Mechanic. In year 4 and 5, Apprentices successfully completing Category A phase, would then be progress to Licenced Aircraft Engineer Category B1.1, Category B1.3 and/or Category B2.

- You will be developing your interest in aviation and engineering
- Supporting the aircraft engineers in order to gain an understanding of the industry as a whole

/ Skills, Qualifications and Experience required: Essential
- GCSE (or equivalent) grade 5 or above in Maths, English and Science
- Self-motivated, career-focused and team player
- Keen interest in aviation & engineering
Advantageous
- GCSE in Physics, GCSE in Design Technology
- Ability to commute and travel to work independently due to different location
