Job Summary
We are seeking an ambitious & passionate Apprentice Chef / Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have be interested in learning all aspects of food preparation and production, with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to food safety. As an Apprentice Chef, you will be responsible for creating exceptional dishes that delight our guests while ensuring the smooth operation of the kitchen. You will work closely with other kitchen staff to maintain high standards of quality and presentation.
Duties
- Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to established recipes and standards.
- Oversee food preparation and cooking processes to ensure quality and consistency.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen, adhering to food safety regulations.
- Assist in menu planning and development, incorporating seasonal ingredients and current trends.
- Monitor inventory levels, placing orders as necessary to ensure adequate supplies.
- Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service and guest satisfaction.
Experience
- PREFERRED - Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques, kitchen equipment, and food safety standards.
- PREFERRED - Experience in team management, with the ability to motivate and lead a diverse group of individuals.
- PREFERRED - Familiarity with restaurant operations and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively under pressure.
- A passion for culinary arts and a desire to continuously improve skills and knowledge in the field.

Pay: From £7.55 per hour
