Salary: Minimum of ££17,222.40 depending on age (national minimum wage applies)
College Location: Dependant on successful applicant’s location

We are offering an accredited training programme in the form of an Advanced Multi Skilled Maintenance Apprenticeship and are looking to recruit two candidates to join our team in August 2025.

At our Cupar Manufacturing facility site we’ve been making porridge since the 1940’s. We specialise in producing a variety of Oat products including Quaker Oats, Scott’s and Oat So Simple. We make millions of porridge products every day and export lots of our production to Europe, Middle East and Africa.
Responsibilities:
It is an exciting time for us and we continually strive to improve our business performance, with our Engineering Team being a critical part of our operation across every area of the plant with a wide variety of skills needed.
As an Engineering Apprentice you’ll attain base engineering skills in the form of a SVQ Level 2 and 3 and Higher Diploma / NC / HNC / HND. Over a period of 4 to 5 years you will mix attending college and working in a fast paced manufacturing environment gaining hands on experience.
Skills you’ll develop include:
- Mechanical applications and solutions
- Electrical wiring, testing and installation
- Robotics
- Pneumatic and hydraulic systems
- Control Systems
Qualifications:
- A minimum of National 5 qualification in Maths, English and a Science subject.
- Lots of enthusiasm and self-motivated
- Excellent communication skills
- Good problem-solving skills
