Role Overview: We are seeking a dedicated Apprentice Engineer to join our dynamic team operating a state-of-the-art, high-speed bottling line. This apprenticeship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience and comprehensive training in a 24/7 production environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with experienced engineers to operate, maintain, and troubleshoot bottling line equipment.
- Participate in preventive maintenance and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance production efficiency.
- Adhere to strict health and safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment.
- Engage in structured training programs, including one day per week at Kendal College, to achieve relevant engineering qualifications.
- Working 8 hours, 40 hours per week, with flexibility for shifts and overtime as required.
Qualifications:
- Achieved a Level 4 qualification or higher in Mathematics, Science and Technology.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent teamwork and communication abilities.
- Enthusiastic, proactive, and eager to learn.
- Willingness to work various shifts, including nights and weekends, and commit to overtime when necessary.
