Job Role:
Warehouse apprentice to support our Stores Person with various tasks. Assisting with receiving incoming products and dispatch, tasks also including helping with picking and packing stock. This role is a great opportunity to learn about warehouse operations within the aerospace industry. The successful application will also work towards their Level 2 in Supply Chain Warehouse Operative. This will be a fixed-term contract for the length of your training, with a possible permanent position after.
Responsibilities:
- Receiving shipments: Unloading, checking and verifying incoming goods against purchase orders
- Storing Goods: Organising and storing items in designated areas
- Order Fulfilment: Picking, packing and preparing orders for shipment
- Maintaining Inventory & Performing Stock Checks: Keeping track of stock levels, identifying shortages and ensuring accurate records
- Assigning Materials: Working with the production team to assign materials for manufacture, considering batch traceability and adherence to works guidance sheets.
- Handling Paperwork: Completing necessary documentation for receiving and despatching goods
- Packaging and Labelling: Pack items securely to prevent damage during transit
- Shipping: Schedule courier pick-ups and create shipping labels
Requirements:
- Organisational Skills: Ability to prioritise tasks, manage workloads effectively, and ensure adherence to tight deadlines.
- Problem-Solving Abilities: Strong analytical skills to identify and resolve challenges efficiently.

Pay: £16,354.00-£19,240.00 per year
