We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our vibrant team. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional guest services and ensuring a memorable dining experience for our patrons. You will be responsible for taking orders, serving food and beverages, and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere in our restaurant. Duties
- Greet guests warmly and provide them with menus
- Take accurate food and drink orders using basic maths skills
- Serve food and beverages promptly while ensuring presentation meets our culinary standards
- Assist guests with any inquiries regarding the menu or specials
- Monitor tables to ensure guests are satisfied with their meals and service
- Handle guest complaints with professionalism and resolve issues efficiently
- Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, including tables, chairs, and service stations
- Adhere to food safety regulations and hygiene standards at all times
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a hospitality or restaurant environment is preferred
- Strong knowledge of guest services and culinary practices
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently
- Basic maths skills for processing bills and handling payments
- Understanding of food safety practices is essential
- Ability to work well under pressure in a busy kitchen environment
- A friendly demeanour with strong communication skills to engage effectively with guests
- Team player who is willing to help colleagues as needed
