Entry requirements

Local to Watford, Herts
Able to pass an enhanced DBS
Be prepared to travel to SFS centre for apprenticeship block training one week every eight weeks
Hold a full driving licence – not essential for start, but will be required later on.
Early riser, eager to push themselves.

Training to be provided

Initially, the apprentice will work alongside experienced engineers, learning and developing in the fields of both fire and security.

The qualification you would be studying towards is the Fire Emergency Security Systems Technician Level 3 Apprenticeship Standard.

Skills for Security will deliver the apprenticeship training in block release at their Watford Centre. You will attend centre one week every eight weeks.

You will be required to complete all training tasks allocated during your block release weeks at the training centre and gather any site evidence needed to supplement your studies.

Things to consider

This is a 36 month apprenticeship, full commitment is needed during this time.
