Job Summary
We are seeking a talented and passionate Hair Stylist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong communication skills and have a flair for creativity. As a Hair Apprentice, you will be responsible for providing exceptional hair services to our clients while ensuring a welcoming and professional atmosphere. Your ability to communicate effectively with clients and provide outstanding customer service will be key to your success in this role.
Responsibilities
- Training to complete a Level 2 Apprenticeship in hairdressing. You will learn to be able to provide a range of hair services including cutting, coloring, styling, and treatments tailored to individual client needs.
- Maintain a clean and organised work area, ensuring all tools and equipment are sanitised and in good condition.
- Engage with clients to understand their preferences and offer professional advice on hairstyles and products.
- Upsell salon products and services to enhance client satisfaction and salon revenue.
- Assist with front desk duties including scheduling appointments, managing client records, and handling payments.
- Collaborate with the team to ensure smooth salon operations and contribute positively to the salon environment.
Qualifications
- GCSE Level 2 Math's and English
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients.
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends as required by the salon's schedule.
- One day per week in class training at Nescot College
- Ability to travel to Thames Ditton
