Barton Road Day Nursery & Mrs Cameron Day Nursery are small, open planned nurseries within the picturesque and tranquil location, central Cambridge. Both nurseries have the capacity for 25 children split between three rooms; 0-2 years, 2-3 years and 3-5 years. The nursery employs 8 full and part-time staff and is open from 8.30am – 5.15pm 52 weeks a year.
Wigwam Nurseries Ltd are a small group of 5 day nurseries. Each nursery has been carefully adapted and refurbished to an extremely high standard and is well equipped with natural, high quality, stimulating resources. We are are an OFSTED Outstanding, Early Education and Care Provider.

Each nursery follows the Early Years Foundation Stage Curriculum and encompasses a child centred approach to play and learning. What will I be doing as a Nursery Apprentice?
●Learning how to be an outstanding Nursery Practitioner, whilst working alongside experienced colleagues. You will attend webinars during the day and complete written college work at home. You will be supported by a mentor throughout the training course, which takes 12-18 months to complete.
●Building positive and trusting relationships with children and outstanding parent partnerships.
● Providing a safe, hygienic, caring and stimulating environment for the children.
● Ensuring that the physical, emotional, social and intellectual education and care provided to children is of the highest standard.
● Planning, carrying out and recording fun, inspirational and educational play and learning opportunities.
What are the entry requirements?
●English & Maths GCSE's at grade C or functional skills level 2 in English & Maths is required.
What are the working hours?
●The nursery staff work five days, Monday to Friday between 8.30am-5.15pm.
