Benton Dene Primary School are looking for a hardworking individual who is eager to join their School as an apprentice caretaker. This is a great opportunity for anyone who is keen to get stuck in with a hands-on approach and earn a qualification alongside!

Role and responsibilities

Support the premises team, staff, and pupils.

Help maintain a clean, safe, secure, and well-maintained school environment.

Assist with site security, including:

Key holding duties

Operating fire and burglar alarms

Perform lighting, heating, and cleaning tasks.

Operate and maintain plant equipment.

Carry out porterage duties (moving and handling items).

Undertake handyperson tasks as needed.

Work under the guidance of a designated staff member, usually as part of a team
