Glasgow Rewires Ltd is looking for a motivated and hard-working Apprentice Electrician to join our growing team. We specialise exclusively in full home rewires, providing the ideal environment for you to learn the trade hands-on while working on real projects.
About the Role:
As an apprentice, you will support our qualified electricians on full domestic rewires in both occupied and unoccupied properties. You will gain valuable on-site experience while working towards your formal qualifications.
College Training:
You will be required to attend Motherwell College on a block release basis, where you will work towards gaining your NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation as part of your apprenticeship programme.
What You’ll Learn:
- Complete domestic rewiring from first fix to final testing
- Installation of sockets, lighting, consumer units, and bonding
- Use of electrical tools, test equipment, and safe working practices
- How to read and follow electrical drawings and layouts
- Professional conduct and communication with customers on-site
What We’re Looking For:
- A genuine interest in becoming a qualified electrician
- Willingness to learn, take instruction, and work hard
- Reliable, punctual, and keen to develop practical skills
- Good teamwork and communication
- Basic understanding of maths and science (GCSEs or equivalent preferred)
