Job Title: Apprentice Maintenance Technician
Location: Fantasy Island, Sea Lane, Skegness, PE25 1RH
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: Up to £12.21 per hour (Minimum Wage dependent on age)
Minimum 37.5 hours per week guaranteed
Role summary
Join Fantasy Island as an Apprentice Maintenance Technician and learn to keep our rides and attractions in tip-top condition. You’ll train on both mechanical and electrical tasks under the guidance of experienced mentors, gaining hands-on skills and recognised qualifications as you go.
Key duties
- Assist qualified technicians with routine inspections, servicing and repairs
- Support mechanical teams on fitting, alignment and fabrications
- Aid electrical teams with basic wiring, fault finding and testing
- Maintain accurate records of work carried out and parts used
- Help keep the workshop and park areas clean, organised and safe
You will have
- Enthusiasm for practical work and a willingness to learn
- Good attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
- A commitment to working weekends and holidays on a rota basis
- A positive, can-do attitude and team spirit
