Monday- Friday 9.00am- 5.00pm
35 hours a week
Duties will include
- Responding to people’s technical problems by email and telephone
- Assisting on project work and system setups.
- You will also carry out some technical support at customer’s offices.

Our client is a growing independent consultancy specialising in IT support and business information systems. They have been established for over 20 years and are proud to have built strong and sustainable relationships with clients, suppliers and service many small and medium enterprises in the Essex area.
As part of their future growth strategy, a strong team player with the ability to develop the skills necessary to support technical and system issues is required. Reporting directly to the management team, the role encompasses system maintenance, development and day to day support for users alongside more complex problem solving and troubleshooting.
Requirements
All you need is a minimum of five GCSEs at A*-C, including English and Maths, and you could step through the door to a career in IT. Some paid evening and weekend work is expected to minimise our client’s downtime, along with being connected to the office via email and telephone when required (Mobile provided)
Skills Required
A passion for technology, good communication skills and good organisational skills.
Qualifications Required
You must have at least 5 G.C.S.E Grades (C and above) or equivalent, Maths and English is a must. Any further education is considered preferable if relevant to the industry.
Training
An apprenticeship includes regular training with a college or other training organisation. At least 20% of your working hours will be spent training or studying.
