Apprentice Quantity Surveyor (Degree Apprenticeship)
Location: Preston, Lancashire
Salary: Competitive
Contract: Full-time, permanent
Start Date: September 2025 (or earlier by mutual agreement)
Role Summary
We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Apprentice Quantity Surveyor to join our team. This role is ideal for a school or college leaver who is passionate about the construction industry and is looking to earn while they learn. You will work towards a fully funded Degree Apprenticeship in Quantity Surveying, gaining hands-on experience while studying part-time with a recognised university.
You will support our experienced surveyors across a wide range of projects and gain exposure to all aspects of cost consultancy and project delivery. This is an excellent opportunity to grow within a progressive, people-focused business.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in preparing cost estimates, budgets, and cost plans.
- Support in tender management, contract administration, and cost reporting.
- Contribute to financial control and change management
- Attend site visits and client meetings with senior team members.
- Learn to use professional tools .
- Work towards becoming a chartered Quantity Surveyor (MRICS).
What We’re Looking For
Education & Eligibility
- A minimum of Level 3 qualifications (e.g., A-Levels or BTEC) suitable for entry to a Degree Apprenticeship in Quantity Surveying.
- Strong numeracy and IT skills.
- Enthusiasm to learn and build a career in the construction industry.
