Role Description

As a Supply Chain Apprentice, you’ll be part of a high-performing logistics team, supporting operations that ensure equipment and services are delivered precisely when and where they’re needed.
This role is designed to develop your professional skills and knowledge through a structured apprenticeship program, giving you exposure to warehousing, procurement, distribution, and supply chain coordination — while you earn and learn.
Key Elements
You will:
- Assist with inbound and outbound deliveries, goods receipt, and dispatch
- Support stock checks, inventory control, and warehouse labelling
- Help with procurement tasks, such as raising purchase orders and liaising with suppliers
- Monitor shipments, update logistics systems, and assist with customs documentation
- Communicate with internal teams to ensure seamless execution of supply chain activities
- Learn and apply supply chain tools, principles, and best practices
Job Content
Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Receiving, checking, and storing goods accurately
- Picking, packing, and labelling orders to ensure accuracy
- Preparing shipping and customs documentation
- Monitoring delivery schedules and tracking couriers
- Supporting clean, safe, and efficient warehouse operations
- Raising and tracking purchase orders and supplier performance
- Ensuring full compliance with GDPR, H&S, and quality standards

Essential Experience:
- No prior experience required – just a strong desire to learn and contribute
- Confidence using basic IT tools and communicating in a professional setting
Desirable Experience:
- Any part-time, retail, or warehouse experience is beneficial but not essential
Qualifications / Educational Attainments:
- GCSE Level (or equivalent), ideally including Maths and English
- Eligibility to enrol and complete a formal apprenticeship programme
