Role: Apprentice Travel Consultant
This is a fantastic opportunity for a school leaver or someone looking to take their first step into the exciting world of travel. As an Apprentice Travel Consultant, you’ll gain hands-on experience in a retail travel agency environment, while studying towards a Level 3 Travel Consultant Apprenticeship.
Key Responsibilities
- Welcoming customers into the store and assisting with holiday enquiries
- Learning how to build and book tailor-made holidays, package tours, and cruises
- Supporting customers with travel extras such as insurance, attraction tickets, and foreign exchange
- Developing excellent customer service and sales skills through hands-on training
- Participating in supplier training sessions and educational trips
- Supporting day-to-day shop operations
What We’re Looking For
- A genuine passion for travel
- Enthusiasm, positivity, and willingness to learn
- Great communication and people skills
- Strong attention to detail and organisation
- GCSEs in English and Maths are usually required (or willingness to complete equivalent tests as part of the apprenticeship)
