The Role
We are seeking a motivated and positive Business Development Manager to drive apprenticeship sales, primarily within the Care and Early Years sectors, while also promoting our broader range of funded and commercial programmes.

Key Responsibilities
- Proactively generate new business opportunities and meet apprenticeship sales targets.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with employers across the Care and Early Years sectors (and beyond).
- Promote the full range of 3Spirit Training programmes, including apprenticeships and commercial courses.
- Develop tailored solutions to meet employer workforce development needs.
- Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting and negotiation through to enrolment.
- Maintain accurate records of activity, leads, and pipeline using CRM systems.
- Collaborate with internal delivery and operations teams to ensure a seamless employer and learner experience.
- Represent 3Spirit Training at industry events, employer meetings, and networking opportunities.
Person Specification
Essential
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in apprenticeship sales.
- Proven track record of meeting/exceeding sales targets.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to work independently with initiative, while also contributing to a collaborative team environment.
- Self-motivated, resilient, and target-driven.
- Willingness to travel occasionally to Birmingham HQ and client sites.
Desirable
- Experience within the Care and/or Early Years sector.
- Knowledge of ESFA funding and apprenticeship compliance.
- Familiarity with wider funded and commercial training provision.
- Based in the West Midlands (our HQ is in Birmingham)
What We Offer
- Competitive salary £28,000 – £34,000 (dependent on experience).
- Attractive commission structure with OTE of £45,000 – £55,000.
