We have an exciting Level 3 Apprenticeship in Business and Administration opportunity for those seeking to start a career in local government.
Ideal for a competent candidate who would like to learn & contribute to a wide range of administration tasks within South Cambridgeshire District Council’s, Affordable Housing Service. You will become an integral part of the Property Services, Technical Business Administration Team, who provide administration for ongoing maintenance, responsive repairs and project improvement works to over 5,750 council homes, across 100 villages.
Our overall objective is to maintain and improve the quality of our housing stock, in order to enhance the quality of life and safety of our tenants in line with Governments Decent Homes Standard & other government legislation & guidance.
Collaboratively working together with our tenants, key stakeholders & external contractors in conjunction with South Cambridgeshire District Council’s core values, we aim to fulfil our obligations to a high standard & provide a high level of customer service excellence, whether relating to projects, major refurbishment works or the servicing of equipment within our properties.

Key responsibilities include frontline payment & operations mailbox & communication management. Data entry, payment tracking/monitoring and document/certificate uploads. Attending meetings, taking minutes, process version control and other general office duties. A robust training plan will be provided to cover all areas & systems.
