Our client is a leading training provider delivering training to the military. They now have a requirement for an Apprenticeship Coordinator – Royal Artillery to join their team at Larkhill, Wiltshire. The successful Apprenticeship Coordinator will be responsible for the delivery of vocational qualifications to support the progression of Learners undertaking the Royal Artillery Apprenticeship. Please note you must be willing to travel occasionally to Thorney Island and Colchester (fuel and mileage expensed). Candidates must be willing to complete an enhanced DBS.
Apprenticeship Coordinator – Royal Artillery Responsibilities:
- Assess apprentice work, provide constructive feedback and ensuring all induction and progress documentation is completed accurately and submitted in line with company policies and procedures.
- Provide coaching to support apprentices in achieving the requirements of their apprenticeship standard.
- Conduct reviews with apprentices at required intervals, ensuring learners remain on track to achieve.
- Act as mentor and coach, providing information, advice, and guidance to promote learner confidence, independence, and achievement.
- Maintain accurate records of learner progress, assessment decisions, and reviews, ensuring full compliance with audit and funding requirements.
- Provide regular updates to the line manager on learner progress.
- Coordinate and invigilate examinations, including Functional Skills assessments.
Apprenticeship Coordinator – Royal Artillery Requirements:
- Assessor Coach L4 and/or Learning and Skills Teacher L5, or equivalent (CET, CAVA, etc.), or willing to work towards, as appropriate.
- Functional Skills Level 2 (or equivalent)
- Sector competent in Digital Support Technician or equivalent.
- Experience within a training/instructional role.
- Functional Skills qualification or equivalent.
- Able to deliver training to apprentices.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team as well as autonomously when necessary.
- Excellent communication skills.
- IT Literate.
- Hold a valid driving licence, with access to own vehicle.
Apprenticeship Coordinator – Royal Artillery Benefits:
- £28,162 rising to £30,854.
