The King’s School, Canterbury is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic IT/AV Support Apprentice Technician to join our dynamic IT Services team. This is an exciting opportunity to begin your career in technology, gaining valuable hands-on experience while working towards a qualification.
In this role, you will provide front-line support to staff and pupils across our school sites, helping to ensure the smooth running of IT and AV systems. You’ll assist with classroom technology, troubleshoot software and hardware issues, and support school events with AV setups. You’ll also take part in wider IT projects during school holidays, contributing to the continuous improvement of our network and systems.
As part of your apprenticeship, you’ll study with an external training provider (fully funded by the school) and receive on-the-job training from our experienced IT team.
We’re looking for someone with a genuine interest in technology, a proactive attitude, and a willingness to learn. No prior experience is necessary—just enthusiasm, reliability, and a strong desire to build your future in IT.
