(Home based - 12 Month FTC)
Overview:Reporting to the Apprenticeship Skills Coach Manager, the Apprenticeship Skills Coach works closely with apprentices, employers, and internal teams to ensure apprenticeship programmes are delivered to the highest standards. The role supports apprentices in developing and applying the knowledge, skills, and behaviours (KSBs) required by their apprenticeship standard, and helps employers understand their responsibilities. The postholder also contributes to the ongoing development and quality assurance of apprenticeship programmes.
Key Responsibilities
Supporting Apprentices

Manage assigned cohorts, supporting apprentices to achieve their programme and ensuring compliance with funding and regulatory requirements.

Plan and lead regular progress review meetings with apprentices, line managers, and mentors.

Guide apprentices in applying and evidencing KSBs in the workplace, including portfolio development for End Point Assessment (EPA).

Support apprentices and employers in using e-portfolio systems and developing reflective practice.

Provide feedback, coaching, and remedial support where apprentices are not meeting standards.

Ensure apprentices’ wellbeing, safeguarding, and H&S are maintained.
Employer and Stakeholder Engagement

Build and maintain strong relationships with employers, monitoring workplace progress and providing updates.

Collaborate with employers to develop personalised learning and development plans.

Communicate expectations and targets clearly, ensuring all parties understand EPA requirements.

Liaise with End Point Assessors and internal teams to support apprentice achievement.
Continuous Improvement

Contribute to the development and improvement of apprenticeship systems and processes.

Work with colleagues to review and enhance programmes, ensuring quality standards and regulatory compliance are met.
