Are you an Apprentice Trained Engineer from either a Mechanical or Electrical background or similar? Are you looking for a full-time, permanent role with the opportunity to expand your knowledge and develop new skills with a structured training programme that enables your progression?
On offer is an opportunity to join a tight-kit team, working for a UK-leading theme park, carrying out maintenance on all machinery on site with full training on the job, giving team members the chance to be part of Southend's most exciting attraction.
In this hands-on position, you'll play a key role in maintaining a wide range of mechanical systems and attractions, ensuring all rides and equipment operate safely and efficiently. This role offers variety, challenge, and the opportunity to develop your skills across diverse mechanical systems.
This would suit an Apprentice Trained Engineer from either a Mechanical or Electrical background who's looking for a versatile and varied role with full on the job training.
The Role:
- 45-hour working week (Mon- Sun 5-day rota)
- Working on motors, inverters, PLCs, and various Controls
- Opening and maintaining over 30 rides on site and working at the other facilities on the ground, including the aquarium and restaurants on site.
The Person:
- Apprentice-Trained Engineer
- Mechanical or Electrical background
- Commutable to Essex
- HNC Qualified or similar
