Our client, an international engineering company, is looking to recruit an enthusiastic, positive and hardworking Office Junior Apprentice to complement their growing team.
Reporting directly to Office/HR Manager, responsibilities will include:
· Assisting all departments inc. Administration, Accounts and HR.
· Answering phones & transferring calls and distributing the post.
· Assist with the logging of invoices and check & log internal purchase orders.
· Taking care of external clients e.g., making drinks, prepping the meeting rooms etc.
· Assist with the checking & matching of all purchase orders to delivery notes & invoices checking any discrepancies are within agreed tolerances and values are within agreed authority levels.
· Electronically process invoices via either Purchase order or batch processing.
· Assist in preparation of monthly accounts pack.
· Assist in preparation of a variety of regular & ad hoc financial & administrative reports.
· Enquiring, arranging and booking couriers for outgoing parcels, both domestic and overseas.
· Filing, scanning, shredding etc.
· Ensuring key movements schedule is up to date.
· Perform receptionist and administrative duties as and when needed.
As a successful Candidate you will possess a good attention to detail, a can-do attitude towards work and great time management and interpersonal skills with 5 or more GCSE qualifications. Experience of working in an administration or office role could be beneficial but not essential. You will receive full training and support while working across a range of activities within the business including NVQ Levels 2 & 3 Business Administration qualifications.
