Overview:
We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated individual to join our team as an Apprentice in Early Childhood Education. This role offers a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a nursery setting while working towards a recognised qualification.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in creating and implementing engaging educational activities for children
- Support the Nursery team in providing high-quality care for children
- Communicate effectively with children, parents, and colleagues
- Observe and learn from experienced educators to develop teaching skills
- Manage daily routines and ensure a safe and stimulating environment for children
- Drive continuous improvement in childcare practices
- Demonstrate leadership qualities and initiative in supporting the Nursery staff
Skills:
- Passion for working with children and providing a nurturing environment
- Experience working with children is advantageous
- Strong communication skills, particularly in English
- Ability to manage time effectively and prioritise tasks
- Willingness to learn and develop childcare skills under supervision
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: £10.00-£12.21 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
