Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Apprentice Joiner to join our team. This is a fantastic opportunity to learn a skilled trade, working alongside experienced professionals in a hands-on environment. The apprentice will gain valuable experience in cutting and assembly of wooden structures while working towards a recognised joinery qualification.
Key Responsibilities
● Assist in measuring, cutting, and assembling
timber and wood-based materials.
● Learn to interpret technical drawings and
plans.
● Operate woodworking tools and machinery
under supervision.
● Support the team in manufacturing bespoke
timber products.
● Maintain a clean and safe working
environment, adhering to health and safety
regulations.
● Gain knowledge of different types of wood,
fixings, and finishing techniques.
● Develop skills in both workshop-based and
on-site joinery work.
● Work towards completing a joinery
qualification.
Qualifications
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team environment.
- A proactive attitude towards learning and personal development.
- Previous experience related to carpentry is beneficial but not essential.
GCSEs in English and Maths (or equivalent) preferred.
