Business Administration Apprentice: Level 3
Full time hours: 35 hours, including 1 day per week in college
Start date: ASAP
Pay: national minimum wage inline with the government guidelines

Edgemark Accounting Limited are a small, but expanding Accountancy firm offering all aspects of accounting for our clients, from:
- Accounting & bookkeeping
- Payroll & CIS
- VAT Returns
- Self-Assessment & Corporation Tax

- Business Start-Up Advice
We are looking for a friendly and professional hands-on apprentice to assist with all administrative tasks, and marketing, although the administration will be the key focus of the role initially. We will be looking to retain the candidate on successfully completion of the apprentice, with the possibly of further training.
Entry requirements
Requirements: 4 GCSE’s grade 4 or greater, to include maths and English
Must be able to travel to Peterlee
An interest in administration, IT and marketing
Training to be provided
Duties will include, but not limited to:
- Supporting existing staff: with daily operations and producing basic analysis of clients’ books & records
- Organising and monitoring the firm’s databases and filing systems
- Handling correspondence: answering emails, phone calls, and internal communications.
- Reception duties: managing enquiries and directing calls.
- Client Payroll support: Assisting with recruitment paperwork, onboarding, and maintaining staff records.
- Procurement: Ordering office supplies and liaising with suppliers.
- Compliance: Ensuring documents meet company policies and legal requirements.
- Research tasks: Collecting market or competitor information.
- Marketing project support: Assisting with planning, tracking progress and delivering.
- Customer service: Communicating professionally and confidentially with clients and partners at all times.
- Time management: Balancing multiple tasks and deadlines, and updating work schedules and diary planning.
