Are you looking to start a rewarding career working with children while learning on the job? Nidderdale Nursery is offering an exciting opportunity to join our experienced team as an Early Years Apprentice, gaining a Level 3 Early Years Educator qualification while earning as you train.
Our nursery has been proudly part of the local community for over 30 years and holds an excellent reputation for quality care and nurturing practice. With a team of more than 35 highly experienced staff members, we provide a fantastic learning environment where apprentices are genuinely supported to develop skills, confidence, and a long-term career.
This role is ideal for school leavers, career changers, or anyone passionate about working with young children. No previous experience is required as full training is provided.
What You’ll Be Doing
As part of our team, you will learn alongside qualified practitioners while making a positive difference to children’s daily experiences. You will:
- Support children’s learning and development in line with the EYFS framework.
- Help create a warm, fun, and safe environment where children thrive.
- Take part in engaging play and learning activities both indoors and outdoors.
- Assist with daily routines including meals, personal care, and rest times.
- Observe children’s progress and contribute to learning records.
- Build strong relationships with children, families, and colleagues.
- Work closely with an experienced team who support your growth and learning.

Please note that we are based in a rural location. While this provides extensive outdoor grounds that greatly enhance our learning environment, public transport in the area is limited. Applicants should therefore be able to travel to the nursery independently, with access primarily by car.
