A qualified Scaffolder can earn between £40,000 and £60,000 a year, so if you are thinking about a new career or getting started following education, then we have an opportunity for you.
This is an opportunity for apprentices that are local to Banbury or Oxford. Initially, you will be working in our Banbury yard and once you’ve shown initiative and the willingness to progress we’ll send you out on site.
We’ll support you through the training process and you’ll be working alongside some of the best scaffolders in the business.
Allsafe Apprenticeship Timeline:
· Start Thorpe Mead Yard training
· CSCS and COTS within 3 months
· Part 1 within 18 months of COTS
· Part 2 within 18 months of PT1
Ideal Candidate
You may already be working in the construction industry and looking to learn a trade or a new trade, or you could be working in a completely different industry such as hospitality, fitness, and retail. What is important is your commitment to learning a new skill and your desire to settle into a growth industry.
You will have a natural regard for safety and following procedures for the good of the team and the build. Early starts and the great outdoors will also be something you embrace in all seasons.

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities: -
- Load, unload, and move materials and items by hand or by using material handling equipment.
- Operate forklifts or order selection machines to transport parts in and about warehouses.
- Measuring, cutting, sorting, packing, and unpacking scaffolding tubes as part of the sorting work.
- Ensure that the car yard is properly maintained and kept clean at all times, by following set instructions.
- Assist in the loading of delivery trucks, ensuring that each item is properly placed and secured within the truck

· In possession of Safety Boots
· Current or previous Fork Truck license will be advantageous
· Trust-worthy and committed to doing the right thing
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:00 am to 4:00 pm with a 30-minute tea break taken from 10:00 am to 10:30 am and a 30-minute lunch break to be taken at 13:00 pm to 13:30 pm.
