“The NEDA programme gave me invaluable experience across the UK nuclear industry, allowing me to learn on the job while studying and apply that knowledge directly in real engineering environments. It was challenging, rewarding, and set me up with the skills and confidence for a long-term career in the nuclear industry. Now working as a Thermal‑Hydraulics Engineer, I tackle complex technical problems that make a direct difference to our operating stations. It’s engaging, meaningful work, and the apprenticeship was perfect for preparing me for it!” – Jimmi, Thermal Hydraulics Engineer (NSDA)
