Join Our Team as a Digital Solutions Apprentice – DITS Department

We’re looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Digital Solutions Apprentice to join our Digital & Information Technology Services (DITS) team. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience supporting projects that drive innovation and digital transformation across the organisation.
What you’ll do:
- Provide support to the Digital solutions team, developing projects and resolving tickets as needed
- Learn and shadow the Digital solutions processes, systems and methodologies
- Provide support to the Digital Delivery Manager at team meetings – updating boards, taking & chasing actions
- Assist in organising meetings and ensuring timely submission of documents
- Produce/help with documentation needed for projects such as Business requirement specifications, to-be process maps etc
- Update projects in Project Accelerator (PA) tool – status reports, tasks, actions, RAID log
- Monitor and managing tickets for the Digital apps team – including triaging tickets, and resolving
- Be in charge of communications for the Digital Solutions team – updating & editing intranet pages, Tech tips
What we’re looking for:
- A keen interest in Office 365 tools, AI, project management and technology
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- A proactive attitude and willingness to learn
- No prior experience required – just enthusiasm and potential!
- No one with a degree or above should apply.

This apprenticeship role is based at Guildhall and will last for 20 months (including time to complete your End Point Assessment).
If you are enthusiastic and committed to achieving your Level 3 Improvement Technician qualification and are eligible to apply, we would love to hear from you.
To qualify for this apprenticeship, you will need to be:
- 16 or over by the end of the summer holidays
- Not in full-time education at the time of applying
If you are a non-UK citizen – you need to have permission from the UK government to live in the UK (not for educational purposes) and have been ordinarily resident in the UK for at least the previous three years before the start of the apprenticeship.
Selected apprenticeships require evidence of English and Maths GCSE Grade C/4 or equivalent.
