NRL are seeking a Vehicle Admin Apprentice to join our Rail division, based in Barnsley.
The role is a great opportunity for someone to start their career in rail. Having recently been awarded an 8-year contract, this will be an Apprenticeship role with a view of moving into permanent employment upon successful completion of the program.

What we’re looking for:Reporting into the Rail Operations Manager, duties and responsibilities include;
- Dealing with PCNs
- On/off hire of all vehicles and dealing with the hire company
- Carrying out DVLA Checks on staff and contractors working through the tracker system
- Arranging vehicle maintenance
- Carrying out mileage checks on a periodic basis
- Liaising with the client to ensure all vehicles are on the necessary white lists
- Becoming familiar with the MID company insurance portal
- Dealing with breakdown / recovery issues
- Assisting the Compliance Manager with all vehicle accidents / incidents
Requirements:- The ideal candidate will hold GCSE equivalent 4 or above in English and Maths
- Full UK driving licence
