About the Opportunity
We are working on behalf of a well-established and growing engineering business to recruit a Workshop Apprentice. This is an excellent opportunity for someone at the very start of their career who is eager to learn, develop practical skills, and build a long-term future within a supportive and forward-thinking environment.
This role offers hands-on experience across all areas of the workshop, giving you a full understanding of the manufacturing process—from working with sheet metal through to the development and production of specialist ductwork systems.
The Role
As a Workshop Apprentice, you will:
- Learn all aspects of workshop operations and manufacturing processes
- Gain practical experience working with sheet metal and fabrication techniques
- Support the production and assembly of ductwork systems
- Work alongside experienced engineers and skilled tradespeople
- Contribute ideas and take initiative within the team
This is a role designed for growth. Over time, you will have the opportunity to either:
- Progress within the workshop into a more senior or specialised position, or
- Move into a field-based engineering role, working on-site if that suits your career ambitions
What We’re Looking For
We are seeking an individual who is:
- At the beginning of their career and eager to learn
- Self-motivated and proactive
- Confident and driven in their approach
- Enthusiastic with a positive attitude
- Not afraid to share ideas and show initiative
- Keen to develop both practical skills and technical knowledge
What’s on Offer
- Salary dependent on experience
- Full training and development across all areas of the workshop
- Clear progression opportunities tailored to your career goals
- A supportive team environment within a growing business
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to gain real, hands-on experience and grow with a company that values development, ambition, and fresh ideas.
If you’re ready to start your career in engineering and manufacturing, we’d love to hear from you.
