Education required:
Must have/be predicted to achieve a minimum of five Scottish National 5s at grade A-C (or five Standard grades at grades 1-3) (or equivalent)
Must include Math’s at a B or above, a Science subject and English at C or above
Expected start date: July 2026

Ahead together with tailored training and career development
This is a 4-year practical, hands-on apprenticeship where you’ll be working towards a level 3 Engineering Technician qualification through Dundee and Angus College
Your studies are fully funded by GSK, and through your day-day work you’ll have lots of opportunities to apply your theoretical knowledge in a real-world manufacturing environment.
You will have a buddy and/or mentor who will help you to prepare
What will you do?
- Learn how to maintain equipment and carry out routine maintenance
- Fault find, diagnose and resolve breakdowns
- Recommend and action improvements
- Help install and test new equipment
- Learn business skills with other apprentices
- Complete community projects as part of a team
- You will work along site highly trained and highly motivated people
- You will be trained on how to maintain the plant on our 47-acre (about twice the area of Chicago’s Millennium Park) site
- You will attend College one day a week to obtain the relevant qualifications
