We have an exciting opportunity for an Apprentice Civil Engineer to join our experienced and talented Civil Engineering team in Cardiff as part of our Elevate Degree Apprenticeship Programme commencing in September 2026.

As an Apprentice Civil Engineer at Ridge you will benefit from on job learning experiences whilst working on prestigious projects. Our projects are of varying sizes and cover a variety of sectors including large residential, educational, industrial and commercial schemes. The discipline has particular expertise in highways design, pavements, bridges, earthworks engineering, cut and fill assessments, ground remediation, underground services, flood alleviation, sustainable drainage systems, pumping stations and sewerage systems, external works and highway and drainage section agreements

I meet the educational entry criteria set by the apprenticeship provider:

A Levels BBB - must include Maths (excluding General Studies) and preferably a Science - Chemistry or Physics
BTEC Level 3 Extended Diploma DDM in an Engineering subject area, with a minimum of merit in Mathematics and Further Mathematics
Building Services Engineering Technician Level 3 apprenticeship DD alongside grade Pass or Distinction at EPA
5 GCSEs C/4 including Maths and English or equivale
