Job Title: Curriculum and Performance Manager (Apprenticeships)
Location: Manchester (Hybrid working)
Salary: £44,250 (inclusive of car allowance)
Type: Full Time, Permanent
The Role:
- To lead on the day-to-day delivery, quality and continuous improvement of the Apprenticeship curriculum, ensuring an outstanding learner journey from enrolment through to progression.
- Manage, motivate, and support a team of Assessors. Holding monthly reviews, driving high performance, quality of delivery and positive learner outcomes in line with organisational and AO standards.
- Develop and implement innovative curriculum and resources, ensuring programmes are engaging, compliant and aligned to employer and learner needs.
- Ensure all learners receive effective IAG, initial assessment and induction, so they are placed on the right course and level, with the best opportunity to succeed.
- Monitor learner retention, achievement and progression, implementing timely interventions for learners identified at risk.
- Lead on quality assurance activity, including observations, standardisation and continuous improvement planning.
- Coordinate the planning and delivery of assessments, exams and End Point Assessments, ensuring compliance with awarding organisation requirements.
- Produce and maintain key quality documentation including the Self-Assessment Report (SAR) and Quality Improvement Plan (QIP), reporting on performance to senior leadership.
- Support awarding organisation activity, including EQA visits, and ensure curriculum reflects any changes to standards or requirements.
Essential Criteria:
- Proven experience of performance managing a team of Assessors within Apprenticeship delivery
- Experience of curriculum design
- Knowledge of Ofsted and ESFA requirements
- Ideally hold experience within delivery of multi-site learning programmes
- Full, clean UK driving licence and use of own vehicle, with flexibility to travel where required
