This is a 4-year apprenticeship programme, combining classroom learning with hands-on experience supporting our Repairs & Maintenance team.
As an Electrical Apprentice, you'll be responsible for:
Working alongside qualified Electricians to diagnose and complete a wide range of electrical maintenance and repair works in tenants' homes
Learning to carry out repairs safely and to a high standard, ensuring work is ‘right first time'
Developing your electrical knowledge and skills through both on-the-job and classroom-based learning
Engaging with tenants to provide a positive customer experience
Applying health and safety practices, including risk assessments and safe systems of work
These responsibilities reflect the balance of practical learning, customer interaction, and technical development outlined in the role profile.

We're not expecting you to have lots of experience - what matters most is your attitude and approach.
We're looking for individuals who can demonstrate:
A practical mindset and an interest in hands-on work
Reliability and a strong work ethic
A willingness to learn and develop new skills
A tenant-focused approach, taking pride in delivering a great service
A genuine interest in working in a trade role and building a long-term career
That you currently hold / or will achieve your GCSE's (or equivalent) and will / have achieved at least 4 GCSE's at Grade 9-3 (A*-D)
Basic IT skills (e.g. Microsoft Office or use of mobile devices)
Willingness to work towards a full UK manual driving licence
