Responsibilities
- Assist qualified electricians with installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems.
- Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively under supervision.
- Support the setup of electrical components and wiring according to specifications.
- Help with testing electrical circuits and troubleshooting issues.
- Maintain a clean and organised work environment, ensuring safety standards are met at all times.
- Follow health and safety procedures diligently during all tasks.
- Learn to interpret technical drawings, diagrams, and instructions related to electrical work.
Requirements
- Basic knowledge of hand tools and power tools utilised in electrical work.
- Some prior electrical experience or coursework is desirable but not essential; a keen willingness to learn is required.
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on safety protocols.
- Good organisational skills and the ability to follow instructions accurately.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Physical capability to perform manual tasks, including lifting and standing for extended periods.
- A valid UK driving licence is advantageous but not mandatory.
