Overview
We are seeking Electricians and apprentices/mates for the completion of large commercial project in Ballymena area.
Other work to follow including Ballycastle for the correct candidates.
Competitive rates of pay. Require self employed electricians/mates and apprentices can be on the cards.
Experience of large commercial and industrial sites preferred.
Must have CSR card or Safepass.
Ipaf would be helpful but not essential
Overtime may be available as the job progresses.
Responsibilities for apprentices
- Assist qualified electricians in the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems and equipment.
- Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively to complete tasks.
- Support the team in troubleshooting electrical issues and implementing solutions.
- Follow safety protocols and regulations to ensure a safe working environment.
- Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition.
- Participate in training sessions to enhance your knowledge of electrical systems and practices.
- Document work performed and report any issues to your supervisor.
Experience
- A keen interest in electrical work with a willingness to learn.
- Familiarity with hand tools and power tools is advantageous.
- Basic understanding of electrical principles is preferred but not essential.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety practices.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team while also being self-motivated.
