An excellent opportunity has arisen for Bench Joiners to join our team at John J Higgins
JJH Manufacture Timber doorset including Fire doorsets and Bespoke Joinery to a high standard
Main Responsibilities of the Job
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
- Manufacture and assemble joinery components.
- Ability to read and interpret workshop/design drawings and schedules
- To operate the required machinery including hand tools.
- Ensure quality standards are met and maintained.
- Ensure all paperwork is completed in line with Quality Management Systems.
- Demonstrate knowledge of timber.
- Carry out other duties as required.
Essential Criteria
- Experience: Previous workshop experience
- Attention to detail, excellent communication , strong organizational skills.
- Personal Qualities: High degree of initiative and self-motivation.
Desirable Criteria
NVQ level 3 (or City & Guilds equivalent) in joinery would be desirable
